oil level indicator quit working
In April, I was involved in an accident where some lady ran a stop sign and T-boned my drivers door. Long story short, it took them 75 DAYS to finally fix my cf. I had 3,400 miles on it and the FSS showed 3,600 left till next service. When I got it back, I didn't check the FSS for awhile and then I noticed it was counting down days ...18 to be exact. Then it went to minus, days even if I didn't drive it AND the oil level indicator wouldn't come on anymore. Just a blinking FSS. So I thought to myself, maybe the sensor got damaged in the crash. I reset the FSS today (tried resetting it to service schedule A but it stayed at B) but still no oil indicator. Should I go straight to the dealer or back to the body shop, since it should still be covered by insurance if it is broken?
Also would my warranty be invalid now after an accident?

If you find anything out, let me know- I have never been able to get the oil level indicator to come on. Not that it matters that much, I just check it the real way anyway- but it does bug me that it does not work lol.

- Turn your key all the way to the right but do not start the engine.
- Wait 5 - 10 seconds and you will get and oil icon.
- Push the little stalk on the left just below the display.
- It will then show the status of your oil level.

Works- thanks. If I remember right, the manual said to turn key on and push the button to get the display to appear. I have to push the button twice though to get the level to show.
