Default Fried my passenger headlamp socket - need help

I was changing the headlamps on my 2004 Crossfire and I must have put the socket on in reverse as it fried the socket.
Just upgrading the halogens not changing to led.
Both wires are black on the socket.
How do I find which is the neutral?

It doesn't matter which way it is plugged in. The plastic gets brittle over time or it doesn't connect to the bulb tight enough and gets too hot.
