Troubleshooting & Technical Questions & ModificationsHave technical or modification questions about the Crossfire?
Find out the answer, or give advice in here!
When you were reviewing previous posts addressing very similar symptoms of no start on forum that’s been around for 15+ years. What conclusions did you come too?
Do a little digging. This question has been asked many, many many many times and the answers have been posted here many many many many times.
All you need to do is search. Once you’ve searched and narrowed it down, circle back around with your conclusions. Feed back is far more useful once you’ve narrowed it down.
car was working great then this happens key will turn to make everything go on but not start the car any ideas would be helpfull
What would be helpful is not posting statements like this: "...not start the car". No one can help with that. TELL US: Does the starter engage or not? Does it engage a few times then you get nothing? If it engages, is the engine turning over r e a l l y slowly? And "wont go into gear": If an automatic won't go into gear, I'd bet the Traction Control Relay is not engaging, but that won't cause the engine to not start.
Its starting to sound like a battery with a shorted/open cell or low terminal voltage, but again, you are not telling us enough to even guess.
Do a better job of telling us what is going on with the car. Click the link in my signature below so you understand the tech help process here.
TUrn key to ON.
Wait 45 seconds.
Does engine cooling fan warp up to high speed (You will hear it)?
If so, its the RCM. MY ADVICE:
Order a new one. Put it in, and if car starts, send your old one to DJ for reworking, that way, you have a spare. That is what I did, I do not leave the garage without a spare Crank Sensor and RCM in the trunk.
If the fan does not warp up to high speed in 45 seconds, we have a lot more work to do..............
A bad traction control relay show many different symptoms. Here are some that I remember.
Can't shift (automatic) out of gear.
Gear indicator on dash shows up as a black square instead of selected gear.
Spoiler stays in the UP position.
Car will not crank or start.
You can check the operation of the RCM as follows. If bad I can fix it for you.

And if you DO get the car out of "Park" (or it's a manual) then once you start moving you will notice the speedometer just sits at zero.
