Question Potential upgrades to my '05 limited version

Sorry if I sound stupid to ya'll but I'm just now getting into cars and would like to know my way around my own. I am really interested in an SRT-6, however trading for or buying one isn't an option. I'd like to keep my limited 200 and upgrade it into an SRT-6 competitor or even better. Obviously that will include tuning which I can figure out how to tune or get someone to do it for me later, but specifically I wanted to know what ya'll think I should do. Do a transmission swap with an SRT-6 transmission? Simply add a super/turbo charger? What else is there I can do to increase HP without risking my car going to shambles. Thank you in advance. This will be a longer project so there isn't rush for anything.

Huntersw, I believe you should not only read this suggested post above, but also search the forum for posts related to making mods trying to make an srt-6 out of an n/a motor (including all the software & hardware mods needed to 'make it work'). There are those who suggest you would be mega dollars & time saved 'richer', buying an srt-6. Whatever you choose, of course, is yours to decide. Good luck!

Too many terms I don't know. I don't think it increases horsepower either, I didn't find the thread helpful. Like I said I am brand new to this stuff so really im looking for what parts I can put in, how much horsepower and other things they give and other tips. I plan on working on it myself

Contact MSS, Mercedese Swap Shop for info and a tune. The tune alone will increase your power and response. They are online.
