Parasitic draw
I have a huge parasitic draw enough to where you can litterally watch the battery/meter slowly go down. I pulled all of the fuses thinking the problem would be obvious but could not find the issue after checking all of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Disconnect and insulate the end of the BIG red cable at the back of the alternator.
Charge the battery really well.
Wait and see if the battery dies quickly, I'd bet it wont.
Of course, you CAN NOT diagnose issues like this without measuring current. You MUST know what the current is in order to find where it is going. Voltmeters lie - the biggest lie is when the voltmeter shows the voltage going down fast, this is NOT PROOF of a high current, it can be a dying battery. Without measuring the current, you are guessing.
