My 2006 Limited manual trans. has 92k and has been well looked after since I got her about 3 years ago. As luck would have it, my primary car is no longer available (loaned permanently to a needy relative) and I want to save up $$$ for a more expensive replacement. So it looks like my garage queen is now my daily driver, with a 30 minute commute 5 times/week in start and stop traffic. I no longer have the luxury of this car being my weekend toy, it has to be reliable day in and day out. What are the maintenance areas that I really need to check to make sure that happens?
Since purchase I have done the following:
Yearly oil and filter changes
New air filter
New coolant with upper and lower radiator hose changes
New RCM
New camshaft and crankshaft position sensors
New belt and new idler pully (not tensioner)
New spark plugs
Resealed breather covers
Tires have maybe another year of tread on them

What else should I check or replace to make this 18 year old weekend ride as reliable as it can be?

Sounds as if ya have cared for it very well
Just enjoy it as you have every day now plus being in Florida you have the best opportunity to drive all winter

If it’s the same tensioner since new, it would be on my change it out list.

Cheap and easy to replace in the garage or on the driveway with all the tools handy, not fun, not easy when it fails on the highway. In the rain, waiting for a flatbed tow truck.

If you do change it, change the belt too.

Agree with Valk. I’ll you have most of the other items covered.

 

He mentioned he has changed the belt already

 

New tensioner, new belt (Like taking a shower and putting on clean socks)
existing belt becomes a spare

But

I’m sure the existing is probably fine.

It sounds like you're doing a great job with the maintenance. Here are my suggestions for further maintenance.

If the following are original you should do these as well at your convenience:
Replace brake fluid with DOT 4.
Replace clutch fluid for a manual transmission (It's the same as the brake fluid).
All 4 brake hoses.
I see you have replaced the spark plugs, how about the wires?
Steering damper.
Belt tensioner.
Power steering fluid and reservoir (This is actually a filter for the power steering fluid).
Check the date of the tires, if older than 10 years replace asap.
Shocks.
Check the date of the battery.
Differential oil.
