i am new to searching through the Forum. 1st time today.
I have a 2005 Crossfire Limited. Driving down the road at 35 mph. Rear spoiler light flashing. Then car downshifted to 1st gear. Numerous dash lights came on. Engine still running. I drove it about 1/4 mile in 1st gear with all dash lights on. Pulled of road in a secure parking lot. Shifted into Park. Engine still running. I shut the car off waited a couple of minutes and tried to restart car. Engine would not turn over. No solenoid clicking sounds. All dash warning light illuminated. No start. Any ideas what might be the problem???
One of the most important things to do to these cars is to have a refurbished or new RCM (relay control module) installed in your car. We have another owner that can refurbish them within about a week turnaround time for about 1/3rd the cost of a new one. These modules have mechanical relays that tend to fail (it's a 20 year old car now) he can fix it better than new. A failing RCM will cause the exact symptoms you described. It takes less than 5 minutes to replace it on your car. Most owners change it themselves.
The second item to replace is the crankshaft sensor. Buy only Bosch brand sensors.

The relay control module is located in the big black box near the battery.
It is easy to replace.
Here is a link to a post I made:

You can also check out how to test the RCM here:
