So if you turn the key to 'ON', and wait 1/2 minute, does the engine fan warp up to, well, 'warp speed'?
If so, the ECM is not powering up and this is most often caused by a failed output of the engine control relay on the RCM. The usual suspect is the relay itself or a solder path on the RCM board.

Resoldering the RCM may not work if you don't know for sure what path/rivet was at fault, or if the issue is really the relay itself.
Turning the key to "ON", and using a voltmeter to trace the output of the relay will tell you what is going on. An alternative is to ship the RCM to DJ or order a new one.

Also, starting a new thread is not productive, as now I (we?) don't know what has gone on up to this point.

read some or all of this
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...-no-start.html or stop at post #2 and send it to dj ,, most of post #2 below.

here is the info If you are interested, here's the deal.
I will inspect, redo bad solder joints, perform the Me So Horny mod (horn works w/o key) and replace the Air Pump relay (and the Fuel Pump relay if needed). I will then test your RCM in one of my cars. Then I will mail back the RCM to you via USPS Priority Mail (2-3 day). In most cases I get the RCM back in the mail the day after I receive it so yer looking at about a week total. If you send it "Signature Required" return will be longer as I have to go into town to pick up the package. If you want the package insured please include an additional $5.
Please email your address to me also.
Leave all fuses and plastic cover on RCM.
* Please detail any issues you may be having (no start, cooling fan runs FAST, wing stays up, whatever).

Send your RCM and $30 to:

Its a long way to ship an RCM from England.
His best bet is to pull the RCM, remove the case and with the wires attached see if the relays are working properly and looking to see if the contacts are burnt. The relay may be operating correctly but the burnt contacts do not allow the passage of a current.
If another RCM from another car is available it would a smart idea to try it out in the car.
With the cost of shipping these days shipping thousands of miles gets a bit much.

You know, I'd just order a new one. In fact, I did. THen I sent mine to DJ for use as a spare.
And I spent 30 years in component-level electronics repair. It's just that I'm over it. I'd only fix the damn thing if I had no alternative.

How ya been, Dave?
