Default Only brake lights stopped working

A couple months ago my BAS/ESP light came on and I noticed it only comes on when I first crank it and hit the brake pedal then it’ll stay on until I shut the car off and repeat. So I connected my obd2 reader and it said my tpms sensors are dead and my research says that would cause that light to pop up and my cruise control also not work so everything lined up.. I needed new tpms sensors. Untillll 2 days ago and my coworker said I don’t have any brake lights because he was driving behind me and noticed. So I did more research and now I’m to the conclusion that I need a new brake pedal sensor?? I’ve checked the fuses/relays and everything seems fine, any tips or pointers? Thank y'all in advance!

This is a new one for me. I didn't think the TPMS had anything to do with any other system, except to turn on the lamp on the dash when there was a low tire. I will be paying attention to this thread for sure!

I would find the connector for the sensor and make sure that it's getting voltage. You can download the service manual for your car in the technical section.
If it's the sensor I'm thinking of, it's almost $150.00. I haven't heard much about them failing, here or on the SLK forum.
I don't know if this what you're talking about: LINK - Mercedes brake sensor another link: Brake pedal sensor
