Default Oil level sensor seal leak

Hi all, My SRT6 is leaking from the oil sensor in the oil sump. But the sensor is not producing errors, and looks relatively new (ie. perhaps a few years old), so could be fine. Is there a seal on the inside of the oil sump and sensor that I could replace, rather than replace the whole sensor? In pictures of the part of the sensor unit that goes through the top of the sump, I think I can see a rubber o-ring. Any idea of the size or type of that o-ring?
Edit: I've just found a retailer with a boxed mercedes sensor, A2759050000, manufactured in 2007, at under half the retail price. I might as well get that if I'm going to the trouble of taking the sump apart.
