window shape
here's the issue...a while back i took my crossfire in for some issues that i was having with it. i get the car back and i notices tool marks in both of my windows. so the dealership admitted fault and replaced both the windows. now here's where it gets interesting...both the windows do not align with the b pillar (it actually bows out and barely makes contact with the seal) and i have had wind noise ever since. the dealership has told me that it is all in my mind. so what i did was walked the shop manager over to another crossfire and showed him what it is supposed to look like. he agreed that the windows are infact different but they will not replace the windows. WTF
does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do besides go to other dealerships cuz i have been there and done that.
A number of us have had door windows that fit poorly which caused wind noise. Assuming they installed the right windows for the car, it may very well be possible to stop the noise by properly adjusting the window glass.
no i already tried that. both at the shop and my house. its the actually the physical shape of the window. it actually is so out of shape that it doesn't make contact with the center of the b pillar.
A good automotive glass replacement company might be able to reshape the glass a bit to give it a better fit, so long as its not too out of whack. I'd call around to local shops and see if they can help.
