Default Dealer recommendations in DC/MD/VA

I just recently (end of october) purchased a used '04 black limited coupe from Town Motors in Exton, PA.

I'm looking to have a couple things looked at / fixed.

Any experience with this particular dealer?

Any recommendation on dealers in the DC/MD/VA area? Any ones to avoid?

Thanks in advance.

Avoid Chrysler of Chantilly. Leesburg Chrysler is excellent.

If you don't mind a bit of a drive, Pence Chrysler in Ashland, VA has been pretty good to me in the past.

Just joined the forum (in the market for a Crossfire). Have my Pacifica and Sebring Convertible serviced at Courtesy Chrysler Jeep in Rockville, MD. They have always treated me extremely well the few times I've had to take my cars in for service. Most of the people there have been around for many years as this is was a small, family owned business. About a month ago, DARCARS purchased the dealership but I've noticed no difference (yet). Everything is the same except the name. I'm hoping it lasts.

Has anyone had experience with Darcars in fairfax/fairfax city? Bringing in the car on Friday for recall work and the first gear popping problem.

What recall is it? And what's the "popping" problem you're talking about. I'm wondering if it's similar to mine.

Passport Chrysler in Alexandria seems to be pretty decent. I bought mine there and I talked to the service department well they did a couple things to I wanted fixed before taking it home. They seemed to be pretty comfortable and efficient on the Crossfire.

I've bought both my SRT's there and I like the service department. How did it go? I work with a guy named Mark. I think he's the best one there.

I ended up going to the Fair Oaks chrysler dealer down rt. 50 near rt. 28. I dealt with a woman named Lynn and she was a pleasure to deal with. I explained the problem to them over the phone and brought the car in for them to take a look. They couldnt replicate the first gear popping issue but recognized it was a known issue and scheduled a fix.

Coincidentally, on my way to my appointment to replace the syncros, my gear fork broke and the car was stuck in first gear permenantly. Chrysler covered towing and ended up replacing the gear fork, first gear, and the 1st, 2nd, and reverse syncros, all for the $100 deductable.

Reason I decided not to go with DarCars is because the service guy was a little too quick to say it wasnt a covered issue and had even denied the fact that the first gear issue existed.

Also, Fair Oaks Chrysler's service department is open until midnight M-F and until 6 or 8 on weekends. That makes it pretty convenient whenever i want/need to get work done.

As for the first gear 'popping' issue, a lot of early production model cars have issues with the transmission where under normal acceleration in first gear the gear 'pops' out of the slot and out of the gear back to neutral with a huge bang and clunk. First few times it happens i thought i was getting rear ended.
