I know they are a pain to keep clean. They are also the easiest to clean in my opinion. You can see where you missed. I traded in my black Dakota for my SRT so to me it seems like a hot wheel by comparison.

FF2MOE,

Excellent job with the fire fighting. You guys (and gals) kept it from becoming an utter catastrophe. I'm in a townhouse complex and at that time our association president, who is a fire fighter and had a home in my complex, was on the Scripps fire when he heard that the complex was being evacuated. Horrible feeling to be saving someone's home while thinking that your own could be burning down. We were lucky - the fire came within a few hundred yards but the winds died down and so did the flames.

Please let us know what you have in mind for a meet.

Msheredy,

A black SRT. Black cars look so sharp but are too much work for me to keep clean. Black can even make a Magnum look good.

We really should move this post to the regional section.

Brent

PS - Just noticed the times that others have posted. Methinks some have internet access at work...
As for the FF, I tell all the new recruits (I am a trainer/instructor at various academies now) One has to be semi-insane to be in emergency services...because sane people run AWAY from "fire" "gunfights" "carnage" where as we run Towards them...but that is the uniqueness of our profession, you have to WANT TO DO this job, not just want to HAVE THE JOB.

PS- HEHEHE...YEPPERS...internet access at work RULES...

A Dart would be cool, but I was thinking of getting a SD-SRT Club put together sometime soon...for ALL SRT vehicles...just a thought.

Darn it, if this is going to be an SRT meet, I am going to have to buy some fake SRT decals so I can sneak in.

I understand what your getting at - I was just exploring the possibility of getting regular Xfire owners involved. An all SRT affair would most likely attract only a couple of 6s. But with my schizophrenia that would be at least 7 drivers. Perhaps we should have an SRT get together (drive through SD or to Julian, lunch, etc.) and kick the idea of a club around.

With careful packaging you can get two 6s in the back and one on the roof. I like the Magnum. When I play the game of "Which SRT-8 Vehicle Should I Get?" I wind up waffling between the 300C and Charger. Then I consider the Magnum as a tiebreaker. Seriously, for big, heavy, gas gulping performance machine it is really practical being a wagon. The most practical impractical SRT of the bunch. I also thought the Magnum had the best weight distribution at the SRTTE I attended. And to cap everything, tonight going home from work there was a red SRT Magnum several cars in front of me. Of course I was taking the drive home nice and easy else I'd be reporting on the red SRT Magnum behind me.

HAHAHA... FUNNY...What part of San diego were you in when you gazed upon the beast known as the Magnum SRT8? I have been an LX member for awhile and an SRT8 owner for a little bit and I CAN'T seem to find but my regular Magnum SRT's out there...BUT Like I asked it depends on the area, because I may now the owner of that beast you saw...

Also it's true, the Magnum SRT8 would be behind you after he takes the off-ramp, loops back on the freeway and passes you AGAIN.

The Magnum was on Aero Dr to Mission Center Rd to Friars east. I work at Montgomery Field and this is the way I mostly take going home. Due to traffic I was always a couple of cars behind but at least I was able to see the SRT badge on the back.

No doubt the SRT-8s accelerate through the 1/4 mile faster and quicker than a 6. They also brake several feet shorter and I suspect top out around 5 - 10 mph faster (assuming the rev limiter was disabled in the 6). It's kind of embarrassing when Chrysler's "halo" and "premier" sports car is out performed by a group of family cars. But then that's the beauty of the 8s - you don't suspect that they are capable of that kind of performance. Well, at least I get better gas mileage.

Wow you publically admit it...Well that's the first step to recovery.

Pssst Gas Mileage who cares about it...If I was concerned about MPG, and cutesy "premier sports car" style maybe I would have bought a SRT6, but I wanted a mean, get out of my way, gas guzzling (NO GAS Guzzler TAX ON THE MAGNUM SRT8)... Oh snap did you see what that wagon just did, ONE BAD AZZ CAR. Throw the SRT6 in the back and still run faster times (j/k), So I got the SRT8...OOOHHH...hehehe Gotcha...

Yeah that was Mol, he lives off of Mission Gorge road, he also is THE Warranty Service Mechanic at one of my favorite dealerships, ahhh gotta love having friends who work for your cars service dept.

Here are my interpretations of your ideas [the bottom 2]. Let me know what you think.

I use wes hinkle for my srt-6 in poway. Good service, never a problem. I think the performance of the 8 vs the 6 in terms of straight line acceleration is almost identical, however I still prefer the 6 for driving around the track. I do like the 8 for longer trips. (my buddy has an 8 wagon- nice for long hauls).

Here are a few more ideas. These will cost quite a bit more as they will have to be printed & cut vs. just cut. The solid vinyl stickers fair well in the outdoors whereas the printed stickers tend to fade after time. Just some concerns that I thought I would share.

Thanks, I'll keep that dealership in mind too. Can never have too many Aces up the sleeve!

Here are the lasted changes. I went ahead and pluralized the SRT to add the ownership element to the design plus it kept the design[s] simple. I also added, as you requested, the "owners club" designation as well.
