The uploaded '05 Service Manual is for coupes and roadsters.

Unfortunately that is the Owner's Manual - I'm after the Service Manual

The Service Manual for 2004, 2005, 2006 is for sale on eBay. Very well worth the price of the CD.

The one available here fairly well covers the car but of course will not have the various things specific to a 2005 or 2006.

This is quite convenient:

http://homepage.mac.com/gregmeach/XFire/

You will need Adobe Reader to use it. Section by section.

Hi Ppro

The advert only lists 2005, and with the current exchange rate, and US$24.95 postage (??!!), this is not a viable proposition for me at the moment!

Thanks Maxcichon, but I think these are all the 2004 Service Manual, and I have that already.

I am actually looking for information on how the locking system works for my centre console, or in the case of my Roadster, how it doesn't work...

You can find the info you're looking for in the SRT-6 service manual. It has service repair for the regular Crossfire and the SRT-6 Roadster and the Coupe.

The SRT-6 service manual has info for the Roadster but I couldn't find any info for the center console lock. You might want to still check though I might have missed it.

Hi Robby363

Thanks - I looked too and couldn't find it either - that was why I was thinking this wasn't an appropriate manual. Maybe it never got entered into a manual - perhaps an oversight?

You want MORE than the 330 HP the specs say is in there?
(See post one in this thread and look at the SRT6 specs.)

Anyway, I want a manual that discusses the power top system in my Roadster. I looked at the service manuals in the opening post (and have saved all of them) but don't see any reference to the power top system. It looks mechanically complicated, but not too complicated electronics-wise.

Uhh well the SRT6 is underated at 330 apparently, and is on the same level of horsepower as the SLK32... 349Hp... And who wouldn't want to bump it up a little, that not RWHP btw. It'll never be a 10second car without major upgrades. But it will be one simple and sexy looking 11-13 sec car with a few well placed upgrades. Cold air intake, Code 3 pulley, and EC/LET/Inmotion/TVT tune... that will put you into the very low 12's... maybe even the highest of the high 11s with a negative DA..

It was an invaluable collection of documents. Can anyone tell me why they are gone? How about the OPR, did they make him pull the documents? Wouldn't surprise me, for sure

I don't know why the documents are no longer there. CICCI members should note that the manuals are available in the CICCI Technical Library.

Its a conspiracy to get you to join CICCI.
