Default Dual Climate Control

Does anyone else have a problem with their cabin being too hot? Maybe I am using the system wrong. What dot dictates the temperature the top bottom or middle dot?

Thanks.

The middle. Red = hotter, Blue = cooler. The white dot is about 72 deg F.

Yes, it can get damn hot in these cars... mine is usually 15-20 degrees warmer than outside if I'm driving with the windows down. I wonder if there's some sort of sprayable insulation that can be sprayed onto the firewall inside the engine compartment...

I was pretty glad today that the cabin gets pretty hot, as i needed every bit of heat today. I left the house with the top down and no jacket. It was supposed to be in the high 70's...but not at 7:30 AM EST. With the windows up, the seat heaters on double dots, and both dials on full red I was just okay. Last time I'll do that...I hope.
