Default Wind Shield Trim

Perhaps I am loosing it - but it appears that the passenger side of the windshield trim has come loose, I can move it approx. 1/4" or more up from the windshield, the drivers side about half this, is this normal?

Someone her will know what to do about it...

If I remember correctly the trim just pops or snaps off. Try giving it a little smack with the palm of you hand and see if it goes back into place.

DON'T SMACK IT!......DUMASS!

Anyway there are clips behing it but if you smack it wrong they will bend and no longer work.

Had same problem after so long of putting it back together I took the car in and had them replace the clips under warranty.

I tell you in a roadster that will scare the **** outa ya at speed popping out and whistling away!

It would keep popping out after repeatedly taking the roof down and high speed interstate runs....it kept getting worse....I think the clips wear out from being used over and over...so I took it in and had the dealer fix it and no problems since.

does this clip situation only exist on roadsters or is it the same setup on the coupes? i have a wind issue as well and the bulk of the noise seems to be coming from the plastic "triangle" towards the foward part of the windows.
