Default abs and other light

I heard that some people take out a fuse or something that cuts out the abs and another thing like traction or something. I heard that its supposed to make your car a little faster just wondering if this is a safe thing todo and if it is how to do it.

Disabling ESC and traction control will allow you to "burn rubber", "do doughnuts", and "steer with the gas pedal."
If you aren't into that, then I definitely wouldn't try to disable it. A highly skilled driver can go faster without the car's nanny features. A less skilled driver my find himself sliding sideways in the weeds. If you have any doubts, don't disable these safety features; the Crossfire is a blast to drive even with them. Otherwise do a search on this forum and you can learn all about how to do this.
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=27058 has an interesting discussion about a slightly more radical mod.
Corvettes, by the way, have an interesting feature where you can turn off the stability control and traction control on the rear wheels only, allowing the car some intervention if you get in over your head.
