Default quick dumb question about door lock pins

searched but couldn't find any thing. I want to add a little chrome, on my meager budget, and thought about removing the door lock pins and replacing them with something from pep boys (chrome plastic). It was a snap on my mustangs but before I "snap" something off in the x-fire; could somebody enlighten me as to HOW they are removed. Thanks

They unscrew - counter-clockwise.

I got mine from chrome-tec.

Cool Re: quick dumb question about door lock pins

The pins just unscrew from the metal rods inside. The Startech and CTD brands are expensive and cheaply made. If you look at ebay for Mercedes parts as I did you will find some very high quality AMG ones at a third of the price and they look the business too.
