Sprint Booster Question
Hey guys,
I just bought a used sprint booster off ebay and I have been looking on here to see if anyone knew how to install it. Im still unclear on how to install it. Can anyone help me and let me know where I plug it in and maybe even a little bit of instructions? Any help will be appreciated!

your search function is your friend. when i got mine, there were at least 2 methods posted. 1 was to remove the plastic kick panel and reach with your hand. i tried this first because it seemed simple but even though the SB looks like it can connect 1 way, the connector can attach both ways and i couldn't see to know if i was right. i ended up following the method of removing the throttle pedal. it was really just a easy and you can see what you are doing.
there is an install thread on this...go to search function...someone asked the same question and it was answered...when you take the nut off the throttle, I used a magnet to get it out, good luck
POST #5 has all the help you need.https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...OOSTER+INSTALL
Thanks for your help. I had seen the way to install it by taking off the pedal but I read somewhere that someone did it withoth doing that. I was just thinking there might be an easier way. Thanks again, Im gonna go put it on now!

Well I went out to my car and started to take the pedal off. I couldnt get the washer out even with a magnet. Sooo after trying for awhile I decided to take off the side plate. I disconnected the plug and grabbed my sprintbooster and tried pluging it in, but when I did the top fell off along with one of the pins!!
So I did all of that for nothing! Im hopping I can find a place that might be able to re sodder the pin to the board so I dont have to buy another one!!

Is it worth the almost 300 bucks.....materials wise, oh hell no ! In more grins per mile.....won't be caught without mine !
I have read the articles, and as I am a sceptic at heart, I would not part with the money. Never the less if you love it, more power to you, I cannot fault that.

Fork out some $$ and put a definite grin on your face the first time you drive.
If these things didn't change the feel of the cars response then why would so many here including me continue to support this little device.
$250 - $300 bucks ...is it worth it. Hell ya !!
The debate will never end and it's OK.
It's human nature to disagree.
I don't like the product due to poor throttle resolution, I would get big gaps in my pedals' travel. it sucks. I aslo had to reset throttle once a week as the computer would learn my pedal movement, which would further increase the rate of accelleration WAY too soon!
I was reading a Ken Bells superchargeing book the otherday, and he said slow throttle response on late model cars using Bosch Airflow meters is common, he stated that the addition of a supercharger with Bosch AF meter, will pull more air over the wire sensor and increase your throttle response.
It should also be noted, the throttle response is related to the manifolds dual stage design. at low rpm it pulls airflow thru the 3 foot long runners, which increases torque. this is the time when airflow is the slowest, and explains why the response is so slow and air flowing over the mass air sensor is pretty slow.
