Default battery hold down nut

ok - so, my first question was answered, and I've searched and can find nothing on my next question. I'm hoping the collective knowledge of the forum members will come to my rescue. In addition to finding the funny little part I found today (thanks to those who told me what it was), I noticed that my battery hold down nut isn't there. Now, I've never removed the battery before, so I'm guessing the dealership lost it before I ever got the car... But, I can't find out where I can buy one, or what the part number is - can anybody help?

thanks!

Bill

You should be able to find one at your local hardware store. If I find the one I took off, you can have it.

What you need is a 6mm x 1.0 nut and a 1/4" washer with a larger than standard outside diameter. Or you could use two washers a 1/4" and a 5/16" stacked together. Do not try to use a 1/4' UNC or UNF nut.
