EuroCharged Lambo-Door conversion kit
these are always funny reads...this is a common sense decision, do they have problems? Yes...the risk you take putting something modded on your original car...whether manis, pulleys, doors, wings, @ss wipers, they are all mods and have an inherent risk to them...so if you like it, buy the best and move on, and it shouldn't matter whether you like someone else's mod or not...it's their decision and their taste....I like them, but I like to spend money to go quicker...so those are my mods...good luck with your decision

The LSD door kit requires some modification to the windshield washer reservoir mounting and a few minor things. It is a very good kit though.
We never sell these things and I only know of one crossfire (seen in person) with these. It looks good.
If interested we have the LSD (same kit) for 1600.00 shipped. If you go to a shop that has done a lot of kits (not 1 or 2) they probably have their own kit or can piece together one for you for a lot less.

Like I originally posted I do like the look, BUT that was not what made me decide on them. I have trouble with my knees bending like they did when I was 26 (they are 63 now) and when in a parking space that someone next to me has decided to "snuggle up" I can almost always open to the first stop. By lifting the door vertcally it opens up the area by your feet allowing you to sit down and swivel your legs in.
These cars have wide doors and are so low with seating that makes your legs rest at about 75 degrees, it is very difficult to get in without opening the door almost all the way. If I could swing my feet through between the seat and door panel, most often I would kick the speaker cover. With the Vertical Doors, this has been eliminated. I was actually "locked" out of my car several times before I got the doors modified.
Everyone who has tried them marvels at how much easier it is to get in and out. How do they look? Fantastic. At car shows the kids like to call my car "the Transformer", the ladies just call it sexy.
If you don't like them, I strongly suggest you not get them. But to declare them "stupid" without checking them out is....well just plain STUPID!
BTW The Vertical Doors kit is a bolt on with a modified washer bottle. There have been a few cases where the modified bottle leaking after time. If you are interested in getting one of these bolt on kits for $1000 plus shipping send me a PM.

srt six, next you will be sporting a handicap plate....boy that was low wasn't it, I'll take it back....but you are correct. You could park right next to a car, which I don't recommend, and still open out and up...
Actually I do have a handicap tag now LOL But it is still easier to swing my legs in with the door up and out of the way.

BTW, I like the Lambo doors. If I could trust someone in San Antonio I'd do it.
