Default Help Sprint booster Install

Hi guys
Got me a 2004 XF coupe auto 12 weeks ago, since having it i have installed K&N air filters and had the ecu remapped, goes great now.
My next project is to fit a sprint booster to my baby, my question is, is it possilbe to fit the SB to a right hand drive european model without removing the gas pedal. All the treads i have read so far relate to left hand drive USA models. Any advise would be great.

Cheers Guys

I believe you are limited to the pedal removal method, since the other option is not where it should be on the right hand drive version. You will say bad things about that washer.....for sure!!

If you haven't already forked over your three hundred bucks, research the sprint booster gadget some more to make sure that you really want to get one. Just be aware that they don't actually enhance any measure of performance. They simply shorten the throttle travel to open bore.

And speaking of throttle response, be sure to re-set your 'throttle response memory' as step number one. Instant gratification.

You will find that this is an excellent forum. Seems like you are already using the search function regarding mods, so you'll be able to save a lot of money and heartburn.

Good luck and welcome to the gang. Sorry I can't answer your question about RHD.

I was able to wedge mine into place with only loosening the go pedal. Lucky, I guess!

SB reduced the D e l a y of the computer and the pedal. I autocross and could not drive the car the way it was, piggy slow response without it. Best change for the money hands down. Woody.

Big thankyou to all the guys that answered my post, fitted the srint booster today only took me 2mins, its a lot easier on UK models you can reach the plug with out removing anything.
Went out for a test drive, WOW what a difference the little sprint booster makes, best £200 i,ve ever spent on the car fantastic.

You gents have nearly convinced to get one of these things.

Definitely two camps on the Sprint Booster. Some say a total waste of money, but you all feel it's an absolute hoot. hmmmmm.

Three hundred bucks ... hmmmm.

What to do ...

Those that bad mouth it have never tried it..........nuff said!!!! Nothing ticks me off more than someone that knows all about it without trying it....or not believing those that have.

You almost fell into that as well....I'm glad you are thinking twice. I hope you get to experience it first hand before passing judgement.
