"How to - Horn All of the Time"
Me So Horny mod!
Now that I have yer attention!
One of the things I wondered about our cars is why the horn doesn't operate unless the ignition is turned on. Well wonder no more! I have a solution!
This is NOT for the faint of heart as it involves pulling out the relay control module (RCM) and involves cutting circuit board runs and soldering.
If you haven't tucked yer tail 'tween yer legs and left by now, read on.
1. Disconnect the battery
2. Remove the cover that contains the RCM and pull the RCM out.
3. Disconnect all plugs from the RCM.
3. Remove the protective cover from the RCM.
4. Using a razor blade or exacto knife (I now use a Dremel tool), cut the circuit board runs as depicted (exactly!) in the photo below.

5. Solder jumper wires as shown in the photo.

6. Re-connected RCM.
7. Connect battery.
8. Push horn "button" to see if you did it right.
9. Put that $hit back together!

OK, You did a great job on the write-up and an excellent pic as well. Thanks for your time and effort, really!
But why would you need your horn to work with ignition off, just curious.

The cut on the left isn't critical. The one on the right NEEDS to be just to the left of the solder joint. If you go too far left you won't separate the circuit properly.

Let's say you are in a parking lot just sitting in the car when you notice someone starts to back into your car! HURRY! Put the key in and turn it so you can alert the other driver!
Or let's say yer name is FP and you see some chick that you would like to beep a little. Sorry! Can't do it unless the key is in and on.
I was waiting to take my son some place and told him to go get the car key. Of course he took forever and I pushed on the horn to hurry him along. Opps! Forgot. Gotta have the key in and on for the horn to work!

I agree with the need to have the horn working without the key in, but have you checked to see if this draws the battery down when the key is removed? Or is the source keyed to the ignition?
Yep, checked it. Relay is now hot but the circuit remains open waiting for the ground contact from the horn button. No drain.
Thinking about making the Cig Lighter hot at all times also.
Also thinking about trying the key fob Radio Shack Beep mod hooked up through the horn. Just to see how it sounds when you lock/unlock the car.
Anybody with me on this???

Tighed, I like the mod, especially now that it is evolving. However, I do not like the fact that the name of the thread was changed when it was stickied- it was pure literary genious LOL
Yeah that title was pretty good if I do say so myself!
I asked that the title be changed so that it would draw the proper attention, not just dirty old men!
For those that missed it the original title of this thread was,
"Me so Horny or How to keep her Blowin' even when she's Turned Off!"
Get it? The horn works all of the time. Anyway, I thought it was funny!

I thought about that also. Then I considered that most have a remote for the garage in their car (not built in like ours) that can also be stolen, dropped, misplaced and then the garage emptied, etc.
For some having the HomeLink hot all of the time would be a convenience.
I'll post a How-To and let folks decide if they want to "install" the mod or not.
Will also attack the Always on Cig Lighter this weekend.
Maybe I will title it, "How to keep her HOT all of the time!"

The module on the bike (or in the car) can really be hooked into anything - you just need to send power to that wire twice to activate it, so, technically, you could hook it into your brake lights, wipers, whatever... you could even rig up your own switch that doesn't do anything else.
