Default Key Fob

Just got my new key fob from my local chrysler dealer. Followed the directions for programing it. The car starts but the fob won't lock or unlock the doors. Anyone know what's going on or have any ideas? Thanks

If you've already followed the instructions from the link above, you might want to check the battery in the key fob.

As far as I can see from Original Keyless website, they don't offer instructions for programming Crossfire keys?

Hi I am confused. Did you get the key from a Chrysler/Jeep dealer and was it sent to you or the dealer from MB in Texas? If so those programming instructions should work. I have done 6 keys are they worked flawlessly. Try it again if it came from MB in Texas. If not you may be out of luck. There have been writups on how the Ebay ones do not work.

I found there are a couple of things on this car that require patience and multi tries. I have found this to be the case with the garage dooe opener, resetting the servive monitor, doing a manual top down, etc.

Glad it worked and thanks for the update so many people do not let us know if things worked so you get responses to old posts.
