Having this great forum and some of the best folks around... KaChing!

Having some of the arguements within these postings... BORING!

Having to pay Chrysler to fix the ones that cannot or will not be self helped... SAD

Having this combined listing of How-To's.... PRICELESS!

Thanks 180! Just what the doctor ordered!

It says so in the OP.

"Miller Tools for the Crossfire password is 'crossfire' (PDF)"

Yes , a stick of TNT is a thought for the ignition problem , but we should not have to go through all of this . If everyone w/this problem would go to the NHTSA web site & fill out a complaint form , we might be able to get help from the Federal Government....

Two things. 1. My interior light still doesn't work right. It will work for about a month and then just stays on forever. Hard to turn it off. 2. When I am going up (never down) the parking ramps, my brake light flickers a few times and then stays on. Only happens in the parking garage, not on road. And, before you suggest it, even though I have never used it, I did put the hand brake on and then off. Suggestions? Thanks.

Ok...help me out here: In this thread, it says that the total volume of the gas tank in the Crossfire is 17.9 gallons:

https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...html#post10818

The manual says 16.8 gallons. Which is it? I could adjust my UltraGauge to show the proper MPG, etc., if I had the right number!

MODS: Feel free to move this to a new thread if necessary...

Here is a Chrysler site (click) to look at when you get bored. A lot of the sites are repetitive, the first page is mostly of interest.
Select your model year and the part numbers for various areas comes up, eg. select trim and trim parts show up and the MLSP - shocking.
Some of the diagrams are hard to read.

Thanks so much!! I have been living with sticky key for years....always afraid of the day that the old "move the steering wheel this way and that and baby it" was going to fail. It had gotten so bad that no one else ever would drive the car, which sounds ok until you have a car out for service and that made me the chauffeur, anyway the step by steps were great, took me about an hour, and resolved this issue!! THANKS!!!

What position is the key in, the first position or the run position?
If you go here (click) and go to page five it shows the key in the lock and if the key is in the run position maybe you can stop the lock from turning with a screw driver and turn the lock as it shows and take it out. Hopefully the key can be pushed out from the back or ....

Not really, but anytime you are gonna diddle with anything electrical, it's a good practice.
And NO, you don't have to reboot anything ( other than saved radio stations etc. ).
You will also lose the override on the seat belt fastened chime if you have done that.

BAS/ESP light may come on, turning steering wheel lock to lock will reset it.
