Sorry to hear that.
I have a 2" measurement outboard paasenger.I used 01-04 230 frame.Correct me if Im wrong...butIf that is dated 04 that likely means it's for an '05 SLK.The 05 R171 is a wider chassis than our 170 by a few inches. & Console is shaped different etc, iirc.But I've never seen the slate gray two toned seats in a R171 (05-11)

Hi, thanks for the response. The seats themselves are Chrysler. They have the emblem on them.

The guy I bought the seats from installed the 8 way bottom.
It bolts in and is useable. Just really tight to the door and if you lower the seat the switches the wall.

Maybe I can just buy the correct rail and be good..

Yep. Get a 01-04 230 rail.
Problem solved.
