Well as we say around here, "Bless yo heart".
If you can start it as you say, get in it with all your parts and head west about 100 miles and I'll be glad to put it back proper.
I can do fiddly mechanical things.

Add photos to help explain the problem, it helps a lot.

Well, since you chose to completely ignore my post offering to help, I will henceforth ignore this thread.

I can't drive 100 miles to get car fixed. Pizza guy lives in my area and I was only wanting a referral. I appreciate your offering, sorry I hurt your feelings.

I'll get over it, I'm a big boy now.
I was only irritated because you did not respond to my post.
Good luck, I'm sure Mark can help you.

( guess I lied about ignoring this thread )

I"m not on here a lot these days.
I've used Glover's Garage in Cumming (GA400 exit 14) a few times. $90 an hour, no quotes, no estimates, just $90 an hour. They've never let me down.

Tricia in Oakwood knows of a place in Buford as well. I can ask her.

Question; I'm about to install new ignition housing. Do I need to remove locking pin and/or the spring and pin under metal tab before installing? Thank you for your help.

If this is a newer part it should be no trouble as the later ones did not have the pin under the little plate that caused all the trouble. To be on the safe side you could remove the little plate and see that there is nothing there.

The one pin by the clamp just pushes in and then you rotate clockwise to get ign to pull out. The spring and pin under the cover is the part that will eventually cause sticking, I would remove it now
