Brilliant, thanks for letting me know, I'm 99% it's 3/16, so that's great, thanks

You're welcome, for some reason I think the nut was an odd size, maybe 11mm? Can't be sure, it's been awhile since I had them off. Good luck!

The 3/16” (.1875) brake line is most likely the standard metric size of brake line which coincidentally happens to be 4.75mm = .187”.🙄

Hi ,they don't quote over in Europe for metric size brake pipe even though we are metricated in the UK, it's either 3/16 or 1/4 , and I am familiar with the metric equivalent in millimetres.
I'll go with the 3/16 thanks for your input.
I was more concerned on the brake pipe nuts size question tbh.
Regards
James

Yeah it’s best to watch out for your nuts, if your not to concerned about the size of your pipe.
But officially the size is 4.75mm even if they call it 3/16”.
We officially use the metric system in Canada, the younger generation have not too much clue about the Imperial size system.
Americans hate the metric system, after all who won the wars.
I come from the UK and I have a set of BSF, BSW and a few BA wrenches, only some of which are good for my Myford lathe. I also have tool boxes with Metric and inch size wrenches in them.
