So lately (3 weeks or so) when i get into my car and take the emergency brake off when i start to drive the brake light on my dash flashes as if the emergency brake is still engaged this happens for about a minute at the most but then goes off and doesn't bug me again until the following day. I notice no sort of drag or loss of power as if the parking brake is engaged so i'm not sure what's going on.

I bought new rotors/brake pads yesterday and was wondering if any of you guys might have some advice or things i should look at while i'm in their changing those out. Thanks.

 

Is your brake fluid level proper?
