Exclamation No Keys...

I went away from my crossfire for a few months for college and forgot where I put one set of my keys, and the other set doesn't have the little transponder in it (never did). While the obvious solution may be to find my key again, I have no idea where it might be so I'm wondering how other people have had luck trying to reprogram a dead Crossfire. I can get in and out of the car (with the key without the transponder) but the car is dead and I can't jump it without having a working key. Should I be reaching out to Chrysler or Mercedes dealerships to try to get it reprogrammed? Or is some private marketplace more likely to give me accurate work?

I've heard that Chrysler dealerships don't do well with Crossfires so that's why I figured I'd ask here before cold-calling a bunch of dealerships that may not be helpful to the cause.

It's a 2004 Crossfire Coupe if that has any bearing on your suggestions.

thank you! any help is appreciated.

Contact the Mercedese Swap Shop (MSS) online. They can fix you up AND HAVE GOOD PRICES. STAY AWAY FROM DEALERSHIPS.
