Video From Mallory on Sunday
Just posted this up in the racing Section but don't seem to be able to link to it from here!
Its been ages since I posted up any video, so here's one hastily chopped together from Sunday's outing at Mallory Park. Mallory is one of those tracks that looks really boring on paper but is a real hoot to drive. It started off very wet which resulted in several red flags and stoppages early on as people explored the limits....and found them. It did dry out in the afternoon before a final deluge before the close of play. I had intended to run the DL1 datalogger but ran out of time to get it installed properly having been at Barkston the whole day before. In the end it didn't really matter as the conditions and traffic on the track weren't that conducive to running consistent laps anyway. I just went with the flow and played around. Plenty of action at the hairpin, especially if you arrived there behind a 3 series Bimmer. It was particularly 'fun' when I followed a Clio and MR2 racer in to there (see end of vid!)
Apologies for the cheesy music, it was an attempt to cover up rattling camera mount!

I will post up the one with me and Steve UK at Barkston later.

Simon..Loved it..Track days are more interesting in the wet...My old Marcos V8 hated the wet, and thats how i got my nick name of Side Ways Hallett at Castle Combe.
