aftermarket emblems
Hi, Does anybody know how to remove the centre chrysler emblems safely as i have bought aftermarket emblems for my srt and they seem pretty well stuck in front and rear ...i dont want to force them out and do any damage to the chrome surround ...any ideas.
I haven't attempt this in the Crossfire, but on previous cars, heat up the badge and surrounded area with a hairdryer and then use a piece of fishing wire underneth the badge and tease it through. Once the badge is off you have a adhesive gum left behind. A bit of polish will get it off harmlessly.
If you are talking about the emblems on the front and rear wing, and you bought the replacements from a guy in Calabasas, California...? That would be the infamous Dan Root. He recommends to break them out.... If they are from one of the other forum members, they should just apply over the existing emblems.
The aftermarket emblems do stick straight over the top of the orginals, unless you have something different. I dont know of anyone removing wheel hub cap badges. Same goes for front and rear Chrysler badges. I wouldnt recomend removing the original badges
