Default Re: enhancements

Hi I have a 2004 coupe with 33000 miles on it here on the Isle of Man.....I drive mine hard, most of the time and my enhancements are to do with performance. I fitted a twin filter induction system, anodized blue for about £70,that does get cold air, although I am looking for a twin fitting for the throttle body so I can run it direct.I have also fitted new rearbox.....twin stainless round boxes, kevlar wrapper with removable inserts[ebay £40!!!] by Ripspeed. The increase in general performance is noticeable! My gearnob was changed for an original Hurst t shift [gearstick shaft had a thread cut in to screw hurst shift onto] to give more positive shifts.I am now in process of buying set of 8.5 and 9.5 wide by 18 all round with 10 and 15 mm hubcentric spacers to give better handling[also eibach springs in near future] and to alter rear axle ratio for better acceleration[due to smaller wheels/tyres on back].THOUGHT OF A SPRINTBOOSTER but just reset throttle so dont really need one!Have also looked into NITROUS and wizards of noz do a wet STREETBLASTER 150 i KIT which when theres enough money i ll buy..........GEORGE

Throttle reset is great but only temporary fix as the car "learns your driving style and adapts to it after a few miles. This is well documented. Sprint booster converts the throttle into a "quick action throttle" permanently, ie full throttle at about half way down. And guess what, I have one for sale!
