Hi Steve
Just seen the October newsletter which I normally have to pick up off the web site I am obviously not on the mail list.? Can't remember if I gave my e-mail?
I see you're looking for crossfire owners in the printing business and you need some cards printed.

Why didn't you get in touch ? and this could have been sorted sooner for you. We will gladly print the UK crossfires cards for free if you wish but don't tell everybody as there all want some he he.

Just get in touch Steve and this can be sorted out for you all and no cost will be involved in less and when I eventually manage to get to a meet everybody can buy me a drink so let's hope the attendance of the day will be high.

Default Roadster tailgate corrosion

Hi fellow Crossfire owners in the UK. I'm hoping somebody might be able to give me some advice. I've got some corrosion under the lip of the tailgate on my 06 roadster. If the corrosion warranty wont cover it, the dealers have quoted me around £1500 for a new tailgate and to have it fitted and painted. I wondered if anybody else had encountered this problem and what avice they might have? I realise I may just have to 'bite the bullet' on this one but would like to explore other avenues first. Thanks in advance

Hi, if i remember right they also photographed the area with rust and i had to wait for the go ahead from chrysler this was on the tailgate of the coupe i had as i now have the roadster srt6 but no rust as yet... so dont take no for an answer, do you have a copy of the warranty information its a small booklet... i think this should come under the 7 year warranty as the area in question cannot be damaged from stone chips as it is not on the outside so to speak, feel free to use this as an example to chrysler as they know it is a common problem area.. as for liverpool chrysler they have changed dealership but still do service and parts for chrysler.. same technicians.. let me know how you get on
Regards, Dave.

Thanks Dave. Have found Liverpool Chrysler. it's part of Lookers now on Sefton Street. I mentioned your case to the warranty man at Hatfields and he Thinks it should be ok. Mine is the roadster too. Shocking on a 4 year old car! Just had brake pads and headlight bulb all in the same week. Am not a happy bunny as far as cars go this week lol! I'll let you know how I get on with the corrosion.

Just had word from the dealers that they are replacing my boot under warranty! Just have to wait for the part to come in. Big sigh of relief!
