Are the plans to meet up in Bourton on the Water at 2pm, still on?
Weather permitting, we intend to leave Lincolnshire around 10.30am

I dont know of anyone else who has said they are going to call in at Bourton yet so I would plan on going straight to Burford. This is prob due to weather. Personally I plan to do the same

It is looking very unlikely that we will make it due to the snow.

It is with deep regret that Ian and I have decided to cancel our trip to Burford.
The weather is too bad for us to consider drving there. We have more heavy snow predicted this evening and tomorrow and our lads have voiced concerns about us going in such weather.

Sorry folks, I was so looking forward to this

Steve's email canceling the meet is understandable with the current UK weather conditions.

So come January we can have a Christmas & New Year meet together..and still use the crackers and the raffle prizes.

Maybe a stay over again, would be a nice option?

UKKen..

I'm definitely up for a Xfire Xmas delayed to Jan ! I will be able to stay over in Jan. It is a shame it is being delayed, I know how hard Steve works on these things and appreciate the organisation and planning that goes into these events. lets make Jan an even bigger event !

I'm sure Steve UK has some dates in mind for the January belated Christmas/New Year meet..and will confirm details.

If able to make a Jan meet..do please post your intrested here. I guess its the same arrangment ( once confirmed) as before.

Looking forward to it...Jane & Ken will be staying over...will book room once dates are confirmed.

NEWSFLASH!

It was so disappointing to have to cancel our Burford Christmas meet, especially as so many people had gone to great efforts to arrange to attend. The weather has been exceptionally bad and I know you will appreciate we had to put road safety first.

So here’s the good news – the event has been rescheduled for the weekend of the 29th and 30th of Jan 2011. All timings and arrangements are the same as previous. May I ask you to confirm by email your attendance for Sunday lunch to enable numbers to be booked. Those who had planned to stay in Burford at the Golden Pheasant on the Saturday night are able to do so exactly as previously planned as I have reserved all 6 rooms for Sat 29th with an evening meal booked for 8pm.

So lets start the attendance list all over again for this meet below - Please confirm your attendance as soon as you are able!

P.S. We still have the Christmas Crackers and the Raffle Prizes!
