Great in the snow
What a fantastic car in the snow the Crossfire is
Autobox into slippy mode, foot off the brake, the car does the rest
got up hills last night that many car just could not make.

We have your rain, that's a fair swap.

Without snow tires on all four corners parking the car is a smart move.
Even with snow tires you are still at the mercy of idiots who may or may not have snow tires and lack the common sense required to drive safely in any conditions, especially snow.
Raised in England I know that the snow equipment used by the authorities to sand and plow the roads covered in snow is not what we need all winter here as it is rarely needed, especially in the South.
If salt is used on the roads, wash the undersides of the car as soon as possible. Rust will appear like magic in the hidden crevices under the car. Using car washes is not much good as they may filter the water but the wash water is virtually a brine solution.

180, this week in Hertfordshire we had snow one night, about 3cm, and the whole of the county ground to a halt!!
Admittedly over here we don't have a clue what snow tyres are but, in all fairness, it's not worth losing the added performance or cost for the one week a year we would use them! (I did get stuck in a cemetery yesterday and had to get pushed out by the grave digger :-) )

We got hardly any in Norfolk where I live. Got to drive it this morning on some frozen slush and it was no problem (manual roadster tc on summer tyres - roof up!. The lack of snow is annoying as my wife reckons I am a child because as soon as it falls I'm off for a drive - whatever car I've got
Been using her Focus ST170 all week as mine was getting derusted
on the bootlid etc. It was ok as well but we only had maybe an inch. The usual problem with driving in snow is other people who should probably be having a duvet day.
