For Serious Crossfire Fans Only!
For all Serious Crossfire Fans!
A very special Chrysler Crossfire has come onto the market - see the write up on this unique car on the UK Crossfire Group website using this link:
Startech Crossfire 3.8S ? Recently Found - Safe and Well
This is the Startech 3.8S Crossfire Coupe currently owned by our member Mark in the West Midlands. This is the car that set the motoring world alight back in 2004 when Chrysler UK sent it home to Germany for the full Startech conversion. The car came back fitted with an uprated 3.8 Litre 300HP engine, uprated brakes, suspension, wheels etc etc and all the Startech accessories, including those amazing wheels, 19" front and 20" rear. After the car toured the UK dealerships and appeared in magazines and photo shoots, it was sold for over £40K. It was well documented at the time, and many of the original articles written are still on the net to read. The car then disappeared and just as us XF fans were wondering what ever happened to it, suddenly it turned up in Marks possession and we new it was in good hands. Mark now needs a bigger vehicle to use for his business, and the Startech 3.8S has to find a new loving home. If you would like a piece of motoring history and a totally unique Crossfire please get in touch with me for more details. Could this car start a new life in the USA? Pics attached. PM for more info'

Wow, that would be awesome if someone in the states could pick it up so we can get to see it someday. There will be another very lucky owner somewhere soon.
A true rarity indeed. But I'd still go for the SRT any day as it has better performance and way nicer in white. Put it up on more european websites. [mobile.de is probably the best] according to me the obstacle to move it to US is too big. (look whos talking...

Was no biggie as it was transported due to moving. Transport goods just for ***** and giggles would increase tax/duties/toll. And the dollar to pound would not really help you out. So for the moment the person in the states to buy this must surely be a collector. I would guess they would have it in their garage for about 65000 USD all included. Btw, was it RHD?
I never understood the fuss about startech. For the person on the street I would say the N/A is the one impressing the most with it's looks. The SRT with it's performance. The V8 conversions with their surprise and mpg. The startech? Rarity.. True collectors item.
If you have all details to seller I can put it on a free database if you'd like . Did you put it on mobile.de?
