Default DIY Mechanics?

Hi all,

Can I ask where you get your service parts from?

I want to do a full service including front and rear discs, belt, plugs, filters etc.

TIA

Dal

Whoever has the best deal, but usually for me it's either local parts stores, rockauto.com, amazon.com or even eBay.

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately I'm in the UK so rockauto wouldn't work for me and Amazon and eBay are options but i'd prefer to stick to one supplier rather than several.

All the parts you need are available from Chrysler if you have very deep pockets, Merc if you have deep pockets or any motor factors, ebay is as good a place as any

I do agree Mo, but I'd prefer to save on the shipping by using one supplier

Hi all,

I'm just trying to find out how much oil to order for my pending service. Does 8 litres sound correct? (seems a lot to me)

I put in 8 US quarts, which translates to 7.5 Litres.

Our American-market owner's manual says 8.5 quarts which is 8 Litres, but if I put that much in, my high oil alarm goes off on hard curves.
