I'm deliberately not looking on autotrader now, having committed to buying mine and to spending 24hrs on planes, trains, motorways & ferries completing the round trip to collect it next weekend i'm sure if i looked now there would be several suitable vehicles close by, thats usually the case!!
which blue would that be or should we also include grey with because there almost the same
I give up now
Well, after a 24hr round trip she's home in my garage, and after a 265 mile drive up to the ferry last night i've had plenty of time to settle into it.
All seems good but I have one question, well 2 really, is the clutch hydraulic or cable on these cars? and does it have any pedal adjustment?
The clutch bites mid pedal or maybe a fraction above, but there is no free play on the pedal it feels tensioned right to the top if you know what I mean, it isnt slipping and i'm thinking that at 55000 miles it shouldnt need a clutch yet so i'm hoping it will just be a case of some adjustment.
I'm off to bed now after an overnight ferry crossing but will be out pottering around it in the garage this afternoon so i'll probably be back on here with a couple more questions, when I get my head into everything properly.

Hi, good to hear your home safe and are already enjoying owning a Crossfire.
Sorry can't help with the clutch question (most of have autos) you might also want to put your questions in the Crossfire Roadster section of the forum so you will get more responses. Have fun tinkering

Thanks for the info guy's, i did a little research after my last post and found it was a hydraulic clutch, i'll see how it goes.
I've just finished the standard de-crud of the rear arches excercise, looking at the floor afterwards I must have removed about half a kilo!!
I've dug it out with a plastic scraper, followed by a clean around with one of those green plastic kitchen pads, then applied a good dollop of that gloopy 90w gear oil on a saturated cloth which I rubbed in, I left that to soak in while I had a brew then finished with a handful of grease rubbed all around the arch lip, so hopefully she's protected for a year in that area now.
