A huge thanks to Mike and Steve for arranging the special 10th Anniversary meet...a meet to remember.

Its all been said earlier. A fantastic xfire meet 48 xfires what a lovely sight. and sunny weather to match. It was also great to meet old friends, and chat to new xfire owners, who I hope to meet at future meets.

Special thanks to Gill for making a scrumptious celebration cake for the crossfire 10th anniversary...so tasty.

And a big thanks to Mo for the posting the crossfire pictures from our meet on the Tube for all to see.

UKKen.

Congrats all on a fantastic meet. 48 Crossfires in one place is always an inspiring sight.Enjoyed the videos and the read. It's funny that at the start it is all about the cars, then you meet these wonderful people, some that become life long friends. Who would have thought that these little cars could do all that.

Amongst the 48 crossfire at the Gaydon meet, I noticed a red roadster with white interior. I have never been a lover of combination interiors, but this looked fantastic.

Was it a US import with RHD? or a special UK order? Should the owner read this, then please post some info.

Hope your able to attend future meets, I would love to see it again.

UKKen.

ken not to thread hijack......but the first crossfire I test drove had exactly the same interior in a black roadster it looked stunning but unfortunately the bodywork had not been cared for and no service history so i passed, the owner not the original one, told me it was a special order when it was purchased new...

Just like to add my thanks - and a personal view.
After a few abortive attempts, this was my first Crossfire event in a year of ownership - and what a way to start!
It was an amazing sight - really good to be able to see all the colours and variations in one place for comparison - like, I've now properly seen the difference between Graphite and Machine grey - so much better than looking at pics - and how beautiful the red is; never seen it in the flesh before (not many chances in our remote corner of the country).
Being a die-hard coupe fan, I now also appreciate the lines of the 'vert - but didn't realise just how very small the boot really is!
Great to see the red 'vert with rare Vanilla interior (special order for the UK?) - but I was surprised there were no Cedar red interiors out of 48 cars - unless I missed one!
It was also quite encouraging to see that this vast array of immaculate-looking machines were not all quite so perfect (if you looked very closely!) - only to be expected as some are daily drivers with a good few miles on them - made me feel a little less inadequate! - the downside of using and enjoying our cars is it can make them a little less than mint - but thank goodness - I don't want to be scared to use it.
But more important than the cars - what a great bunch of people - really made the 600 mile round trip worthwhile - looking forward to meeting some of you again soon!

According to the '06 UK brochure, Black, Red, Blue or Yellow Roadsters (only) were available with the Cool Vanilla interior. Doesn't say anything about special order so I suppose it's rare because so few buyers chose it - dunno why, though - I reckon it looks awesome - maybe they thought it would be difficult to keep looking clean...?

Hey Mo, I don't think we spoke but no worries - apart from car details (the stuff car nerds just don't miss!), the day was a bit of a blur - all a bit much for a newbie to take in.
Noticed your car, though - and heard it - nice!
Geography is not in my favour for the majority of meets but will certainly be making the effort again at some point - hope to see you then...
Chris
