Default Haynes Motor Museum meet 13th October

Following the huge success at Gaydon we now have the penultimate Crossfire visit for 2013.
Sunday 13th October the club will be visiting the Haynes Motor Musem in Sparkford. The museum’s collection includes cars from Ford Fiesta to the Ferrari 360 Spider. This unique collection of vehicles from around the world has over 400 amazing cars and bikes from nostalgic classics of the 50s and 60s, glorious Bentleys and Rolls Royces to exciting super cars of today, like the Jaguar XJ220.
As is usual we plan to meet between 10am and 11am and will have a dedicated parking area on the test track at Duesey Straight. Just look for the Crossfire flags. Entry to the grounds is free, with the museum costing £9.95 or £8.95 for senior citizens. This is a discount of £1.00 from normal prices. Not much but it all helps.
The address is : Haynes International Motor Museum, Sparkford, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 7LH, website:
www.haynesmotormuseum.com
We will be holding a raffle again if you would be kind enough to donate a prize.
So we look forward to seeing you all on the 13th, can we beat 48 cars?
Safe driving.

Please post below if you are attending

Gill, Clinking raffle bottles are already in the boot!!

Being fairly local, I have been to Haynes Museum a few times over the years with my son, and it well worth a visit.

See you there.

Weather forecast looking good for the weekend. not sunny, but at least dry.

The table is booked for 7.15 - couldn't get our usual 7.30 !!! Perhaps we should meet in bar a little earlier than usual - 6.45 perhaps ???

Hi guys,

Do you guys mind if i pop along on sunday, i am only about 10 miles away, i have never seen an SRT-6 in the flesh!!! I wont join the museum tour, as I have done it a few times, but it is good. Also for the ones interested in flying Fleet Air Museum is just down the road in Yeovilton.

Hi all,

Cheers for the chats, and thanks to the guys I annoyed asking about the srt,s. Everyone was very welcoming, sorry the weather wasn't the best down my way, but at least the morning was okay.

On a different note I was thinking of selling the crossfire soon, but after stopping for fuel onthe way back and receiving allot of great comments from the attendent, I might keep it a bit longer. I still fancy a SRT, even more so after seeing the ones there today.

Thanks again Kev.
