annoying beep
Hi all,
My 1st questions as I approach my 1st year as a crossfire owner.
Without wanting to sound stupid could someone tell me what the loud single beep noise is 20 seconds after turing my ignition on?
I am getting used to it but my wife jumps everytime it does it.
Has anyone ever imported a magnaflow exhaust from the USA. They are quite a bit cheaper (£710 in UK, £522 in USA including delivery) but I presume taxes etc will be added.
Thanks
JT

The beep is your service indicator, look in the odo window you will see one or two spanners and the amount of miles past service interval. it appears when the ignition is turned on. after a few seconds beeps and goes off.
As for magnaflow, have one made!! I have a stock one on my N/A that I dropped on for £103 yes £103 on ebay. but as they don't make stock for srt-6 I had one made by the UK magnaflow agents near Heathrow, it cost £525 fitted.
Get yourself over to UK Crossfire Owners Group on face Book, you will find lots of help and information there.
