Default headlight beam direction lhd/rhd

I will be importing my uk rhd car to spain and to pass the itv (spanish mot) it must have lhd beam. Do the lights have a straight beam or can the direction of the beam be changed without having to change the headlights. Thanks in advance for any advice.

There is an adjustment, it looks like, on the housings for horizontal alignment. A strange tool must be used, it seems.

I am pretty sure you can not change LHD to RHD, not enough adjustment.

Probably not as there are LHD and RHD headlamps

I found a guy near benidorm who took my lights apart and adjusted the lights, took a few hours but quarter of the price of replacing them.

I didnt stay and watch but I have seen a youtube video of somebody doing it on a different car. The lights do come apart once the glue is heated to separate the parts and then the projector lights can be modified to change the beam direction.

OooooooK.
I too have had one apart, but it was a junker with a 4" hole in the lens.
I saw nothing adjustable inside other than the screw/socket arrangement.
But if the results are what you wanted, good on you.
( hope they resealed it well )
