You say NO CRANK or start.
If when you turn the ignition switch to start, you get nothing ( engine does not turn ), then it is most likely the RCM at fault, not the SKREEM.

To test if it is the skreem unit, disconnect your battery for 5 mins, reconnect and see if it cranks, if it cranks but no start three times then goes back to no crank, it is your skreem unit.

And NO! you can not fit a second hand unit, it will not pair to the ignition and ECU. But a new skreem will automatically pair to both. If you want to go down the second hand route you will need replace all 3 components. You should be able to pick them up for around £750.

The best price I could find for a new skreem in the UK for my SRT-6 was £1250. you will get peeps tell you they have seen them £300/600!!! I could never find one to actually buy. Also I am not 100% sure that a US sourced part will actually work in EU spec cars, so be aware.

There are 3 Skreem units available, to fit Limited Auto and Manual, they ARE different!!
And to fit SRT-6. Make sure you get the right one!

Anyway hope its not your skreem!!!!

I know all this as I have just had to have mine replaced on the 6 Roadster.

Good luck
