Default Reading Error Codes

Hi guys,

My Engine warning lamp just came on. The car is driving fine. I've found a lot of posts on Error Codes but not how to read them. Is there a key turn sequence that displays the code?

Can I reset the lamp, it case it was just something minor like the fuel cap?

Cheers
David

Default Re: Reading Error Codes

You need an OBDC II code scanner or a UltraGuage to read / reset the codes.
( or be REALLY stupid and take it to a dealer )
Here in the colonies, AutoZone or Advance will read them for you at no cost.
