Default Engine Not Cranking Over...

Hi,
I have been working away for a month and my 04 auto Xfire has been on my drive during this time. My son started the car a few weeks ago without any issues.
I am now back home and went to start it this morning. The dash lights come on, there is a clicking noise when I turn the key but the engine is not cranking. After a few attempts the back spoiler also came up and won't go down.
Any help would be much appreciated...

Kind regards
Swampy..

Ok thanks. Could you tell me what the minimum voltage should be when the car is not running and the same when running?
at the moment thee is 11.5 volts with it not starting.

I had this problem once before because an internal light was left on and it totally drained my battery. After charging up over night it was fine.

I'm just going on the symptoms, if she throws her tail in the air without being asked to, then there is a voltage problem 99% of the time.
I think. I think. I think. ( therefore I am, Greg )

The battery should be pushing about 12.5 volts with the engine off, and about 14.5 volts with the car on.

Thanks for clarifying the voltage.
I have charged the battery up and will fit it back on the car tomorrow.
I will keep a check on the voltage if all goes well.
I will start to look for another battery as a back up...
Thanks again...
Swampy..
