Default Crossfire won't start after collision

Hi all
I have a 2004 crossfire and it will not start
It will try and start twice but die
There is no start error on the dash and everything else
Works as it should, the key unlocks and locks the doors
The alarm works etc. This has only happend after the
Collision.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Disconnect the battery for a few minutes, then reconnect and try again.

Immobiliser unit (Skreem) has gone bad. You will need to replace with a brand new unit, used unit will not pair with ECU.

Ok that make some sense because the fault code says it's the skreem at fault but if I fit a brand new one would it need pairing to the ecu or is it just plug and play?
I have also read that if you leave the ignition on for one hour it will unlock it.

Hold your horses there. Where was the damage done? How much damage was done and was it fixed at a body shop?
Just saying it is the SKREEM is too easy.
If it was damaged during the accident the car probably would not have started later, did it or not?
We are missing facts here, I assumed you did do the disconnect after each time it failed and you omitted to mention the fault code.
Think of the Forum as a car doctor, give all the symptoms, or as Sgt. Joe Friday said 'just the facts'.
The SKREEM is not plug and play until it has had the VIN# set in it. It is the basic security keeper of the car, if it was easy to set the car would be a sitting duck for theft.
Do you have the correct key? Do you have another key? Did any work get done under the dash?

Dave is right (as always) - this could be as easy as the RFID ring around the ignition being unplugged.
