Hope someone can give some advice, when I put key into ignition and turn the key (but not start the engine) I get @ continuous beeping noise. The engine will start but the beeping keeps going. There are no warning lights on the dash, everything seems normal. All doors, bonnet, tailgate etc are fully closed so not sure what the bleeps mean.

Coupe or Roadster?
Auto or Manual?
Base-SE, Limited or SRT?

 

2006 coupe auto UK version so guess limited

 

You might try disabling your seat belt chime:
1) Turn the key to on/START - within 60 seconds, turn ignition off
2) Start engine and wait for seat belt light to turn off
3) Within 60 seconds unbuckle/rebuckle the seat belt 3 times ending with buckled, it should chime once; this confirms you have turned the chime off.

 

a constant beeping - def not a chime.....tho i did try the seat belt chime late last night as suggested but it made no difference.

***update****just been out this morning to do some other checks as kindly suggested by those more technical than me, popped key in ignition and the beeps have stopped.....after 2 days of beeping, now back to normal...very weird indeed.
