Default Doom & gloom?.....nah!

With all the doom& gloom about various aspects of some of the cars, and the fact I bought mine unseen (I have never bought a car unseen before)I worry every time I get into the car that something will fall off or go wrong that is beyond my technica ability? Electics worry me and there doesn't appear to be much backup from either Chrysler ror Mercedes.
Touch wood,I have no unexpected lights lighting the dash up, and long may it stay like that. The car seems solid and goes like stink when required.Someone mentioned they are like a go-cart and I can agree with that as the suspension allows you to feel every minor inperfection in the road. The car has helped me find my mojo and the engine sound when you put your foot down is awsome
When I get out the car I always stay pumped up for ages as it gets my adrenilin going methinks!

Most people that post have problems however for every one you read about there are thousands running around out there. Just remember and European repair shop that works on Mercedes can work on your car. It is a 2003 SLK 320.

Last weekend I took my girlfriend out for a quick ride to the ice cream place a few towns away. When we got there the young woman behind the counter kept staring at my car.
We could hear her talking to her friend about it. Finally she got up the courage to lean out the window and ask me about it. LOL
When I explained what it was she went right into her phone looking for info. I felt so proud of my car.
My girlfriend kept ribbing me about picking up chics with my midlife crisis vehicle! LOL
Ironically my girlfriend is the one who made me pull the trigger on buying "Sven". She named the car after "Svengoolie" the TV horror host. I figured any woman that would drive 2 hours across state lines to go look at a car, then tell me to stop hemming and hawing and buy the dammed thing, then help me get it home, should at least be allowed to name it! Have fun, don't worry about it. Just pay attention when your car talks to you.
