How do we change the avatar or signature now that we no longer have that option in the tool bar for quick links?

 

Click your Icon at the upper right and choose "USER CP"

 

Many functions can be found in the drop down menu in the upper right corner of the screen when you move the cursor over your screen name

 

One of the best features of the old tool bar was the advanced search, you put in the original posters name and the search subject and voila. I cannot see that feature at all. Maybe I am missing it somehow.
If you could remember some past answers, some little detail in a particular post and maybe the posters name you could find that post pretty quickly. Of course you have to be still able to remember past yesterday's lunch, but fortunately I still can.

I too miss that feature and don't see it anymore
I have inquired about this today and hope it can be restored
I used that feature frequently

I have been in contact with the owners of the forum here
The new toolbar will have the advanced search feature back soon

This was supposed to be added under "Tools" on the new toolbar but the tech team never rolled out the update.
We will hopefully see it roll out later this week.
